Project Scope
ESPD is a UK-based class-booking platform. After registering, students can choose a subject and teacher, book a suitable time, and review their upcoming classes from a personal dashboard. At the scheduled time, both the student and teacher can launch the class through Google Meet.
Teachers have a dedicated dashboard for managing their availability, reviewing bookings, and joining scheduled classes.
My Role
I worked on ESPD as a Backend Developer at BitPixel Software Solutions, with responsibility for API development.
- Developed APIs for the student and teacher booking flows.
- Supported teacher availability and scheduled-class data used by both dashboards.
- Helped connect the booking lifecycle with the class-joining experience.
Contribution
The work required keeping availability, bookings, and the two user dashboards in sync. I focused on providing a dependable backend contract so the frontend could present the correct class status and actions to students and teachers.
